Dinard, a seaside resort opposite Saint-Malo
A chic and popular seaside resort on the Emerald Coast

The charming town of Dinard is 30 km from La Crique campsite, a chic place full of charm. This resort is renowned for its Belle Epoque villas. In 1850, the British fell in love with the natural setting of the town and its cornices. Magnificent villas were built, followed by the casino and luxury hotels from which the town takes its name.« Elegant Dinard »

The promenade at the mouth of the River Rance
Dinard's favourite walk is between the Pointe du Moulinet and the Prieuré beach. 1 km long, the promenade du Clair de Lune winds between the Mediterranean vegetation gardens, including a palm grove created in the 1930s, and the sea. The promenade is protected from the wind and offers breathtaking views over the bay of Saint-Malo, its lighthouse and the marina.
In summer, the promenade comes alive in the evening. It's the magic of «Moonlight»: illuminations and music accompany your evening out with a new theme every night.

Dinard and its 3 beaches

Dinard also has 3 fine sandy beaches.
- L'Écluse beach in the heart of the resort, is a lively family beach lined with shops, a casino and a merry-go-round for children's enjoyment. There is a heated Olympic seawater swimming pool and an open-air swimming pool. The beach is supervised all year round and has a children's club. You can hire bathing cabins, parasols and deckchairs for your lazy moments!
- The beach at Saint-Enogat, in the centre of Dinard, near the Jules Verne fountain, is lined with villas overlooking the rocks that guard the fortified town of Saint-Malo.
- Prieuré beach is the most sheltered of the 3, and is the first beach as you enter the town after the Rance dam. A seawater pool can be discovered at low tide, with a panoramic view over Saint-Malo. Make time for sport with the outdoor fitness area and kayak hire on the Baie du Prieuré!
